This student from Krishnagiri district is an aspiring teacher pursuing her second year of B.Ed. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English. Her father passed away when she was a child. It was her mother’s brother who supported the family as guardian. Her mother is a daily wager and is not in very good health.

The student's elder brother dropped out of studies and is working in a mobile phone store in the village, earning a sum of Rs.5,000 monthly. The family, which lives in a one-room house, has some land but there is no cultivation.

The team review also shows that the student has been consistently scoring well, despite her difficult circumstances. Aalayam seeks to raise Rs.35,000 towards the student’s course fee.
