#20180803 - BA English 2nd year studying in Sriperumbudur

Two students from the same family living in a village in Kancheepuram district are struggling to pay the fees for their undergraduate studies. Their village is quite far from Sriperumbudur and Aalayam's reviewer had to spend hours to find the house in the remote area. One of the girls is in her first year in a B.Sc programme while the other is in her second year in a B.A. course, both at a college in Sriperumbudur.

The students have a sister and a brother. The family lives in a small house, which has just a kitchen and a room. The parents are daily wage earners, without a steady income. The father's younger brother works in a steel store and extends some support for the family.

The students show a keen interest to pursue their studies and find a good career path. Aalayam has agreed to extend assitance for fees of Rs. 10,000 (BA) for the year.
