Our Beneficiary is doing his 3nd year diploma in a polytechnic near Chennai. Last year we paid Rs.2100 for his tuition fees, for this year when we review his studies, found that he has scored 89% in academics and one of best performer in his department. Though his semester fees is Rs.7150, the college can provide the fees structure and receipt only for Rs.3850. Considering that, we are approving for Rs.3850 for his studies this year.
Background Story [Cause: 20161001]:
He is the eldest among the family of 3 children. Both his younger brother and sister were studying in the government school. Grandmother of 80years old is also under this family's care. Our beneficiary is very good in his studies, as he scored 90% in 12th and got concession for his diploma fee. During our review process, we found that he is one of the top scorer in his department.
Father is working a collie in weaving factory with no fixed salary, earns approx. 500-1000Rs per week. They owns a small house of 13*20, where all 6 members are staying . For first year they took loan of 10K for his college fee and still the loan is pending for re-payment. Since they don’t have any other source for this year payment, they requested to Aalayam last year.
