#20150603 - MBBS 2nd year from Karur studying in Trichy

Beneficiary is a 2nd year MBBS (Medical) student from Karur studying in a medical college in Trichy. He lives with his father, mother and a younger brother who is studying 11th standard in Namakkal. His father is a weaver and have a low monthly earning which can support only their living. His parents are ambitious and want both their children to be well educated.

Beneficiary scored 1165/1200 marks in HSc and 481/500 in SSLC. He got MBBS admission through counselling under payment quota. He was able to pay 1st and 2nd year fees by getting help from friends, family and some NGOs. He had approached us last year, but at that time his fees was paid and he wanted to raise funds to settle the debt. But as per our policy we can not make payment to the beneficiary and allowed to pay only to the institues. So unfortunately we had to reject his application.

He approched us again this year and seeking help for his 3rd year (2015 -2016) fees. His total fees amount is Rs.3,80,000. He received Rs.1,80,000 as bank education loan, Rs.1,25,000 as first graduate govt. scholarship and in need of remaining amount Rs.75,000. He had requested for Rs.50,000 and remaining he should be able to manage.
