#20150304 - 2nd year BE (IT) student from Krishnagiri

Beneficiary is a 2nd year B.E(I.T) student from Krishnagiri. Her father died in a road accident when she was an year old.

She was living with her grand mother and mother in Krishnagiri. They were financially supported by her grand mother. Unfortunately her grand mother died few weeks before and left the rest of them in deep trouble. They are having hard time with their daily living.

She was not able pay her 1st and 2nd year college fees till now. Knowing her financial problem the college waived 50% of her total fees and allowed her to appear 1st year exam. For this year, the college has asked the student to pay the fees before the exam which is scheduled to start on April 13th. Since there is no other help she could not pay the fee and reached us for help. Our volunteer spoke to the chairman of the college and got 3 more weeks time. We greatly thank the Chairman and faculty for what they are doing and listening to us.

This student was referred to Aalayam by a college faculty whom our volunteers met when they dropped a cheque for a previous cause # 20141102.
